How to Flash or Update Firmware on Motorola Moto G (1st gen-2013) With RSD Lite.

1# Step - Preparations.

  1. During flashing process, all files, user data, and apps installed on internal memory are wiped. Therefore we recommend to backup it all and save at the other storage.

2# Step - Motorola Moto G (1st gen-2013).

  1. Switch off  Motorola Moto G (1st gen-2013) device
  2. Once it completely power off, now boot your Motorola Moto G (1st gen-2013) into fastboot mode. 
    • Press and hold Power button + Volume Up buton at the same time.

  4. Make sure your Motorola Moto G (1st gen-2013) is successfully detected on the computer, if fail you can try this.

    • Change computer ports
    • Check your USB driver..
  5. Install RSD Lite on the computer, then launch this software from desktop or start menu.
  6. Once RSD Lite window run on the computer, Click the button marked with the arrow and red circle shown at picture below to load Motorola Moto G (1st gen-2013) firmware.

  7. Now, navigate to the firmware folder location you have downloaded before.
  8. The firmware should has this extensions. 
    • *.shx, 
    • *.hs, 
    • *.xml, 
    • *.sbf,
  9. Once your Motorola Moto G (1st gen-2013) firmware successfully loaded, you can see at the file properties window.

  11. You can see the flashing progress at status window.
