Flash Android 7.1 Nougat on Lenovo K3 Note Via TWRP Recovery.

Flash Nougat Lenovo K3 Note. Now you can update your Lenovo K3 note to the latest Android Nougat operating system. This step by step guide is easy to follow by everyone. You don't need to be expert. By installing the latest Android system on your device, you will get more security, UI, improvement and the latest feature.Some device will get the update via OTA (over the air) from the manufacturer automatically. But if this OTA update not available for your device you can try with the following method below. 

Lenovo K3 Note also known as Lenovo A7000 Plus. By default you will have Android Android OS, v5.0.2 (Lollipop) on your Lenovo K3 Note, which this OS installed at early time as first time you bought it. And now you can update this OS to the latest Android 7.1 Nougat with this method.

Prerequisite.

  1. Make sure TWRP recovery installed on Lenovo K3 Note. If not, you can follow this guide how to install TWRP on Lenovo K3 Note.

  2. AOSP K3 Note 7.1 beta2 (ROM). Download from needrom.com (you must be a registered user to download this ROM).

Flashing Guide (Step by step).

  1. Copy all files above into root directory SD card.
  2. Turn off your Lenovo K3 Note
  3. Once it completely turn off, now boot your K3 Note into recovery mode. How to do it ?
    • Press and hold Volume Down + Volume UP + Power button.
    • Release all button if you see Lenovo logo and enter TWRP

  4. Now consider the following TWRP menu.

  5. From this menu, tap Wipe - Format Data - then type yes to confirm. It will wipe all data on your K3 note.
  6.  Once finish tap Back, to go to TWRP main menu.
  7. Then, tap wipe - Advanced wipe - make check list at (dalvik cache, cache, data) - Then swipe to the right to confirm.
  8. Now go to TWRP main menu again.
    • Tap install
    • Select storage
    • Then search your ROM (AOSP K3 Note 7.1_2. zip
    • Then swipe to the right to install Rom.
    • Now, wait the installation process until finish.
  9. Now, reboot Lenovo K3 Note to system
  10. Finish.
